Colorful folk art style on trunks and trinkets always catch my eye at flea markets and estate sales. There is just something so homey about folk art style.
Usually, I only do butterflies as collage paintings that take weeks of cutting and preparation. However, these colorful painted sketches were so fun to create and the deviation from my usual approach was a good brain teaser.
