You just came home with your baby and expect to enter into blissful motherhood  filled with cute outfits (for baby) and a big oxytocin hit for mom. Then the swollen breasts and tender nipples show up and rain on your parade. Breastfeeding sometimes makes a mom’s relationship with her body a bit complicated.  What works for some may not work for others.  Breastfeeding is not always the easiest endeavor when you first start out. It can hurt. A lot! Also, it can be pretty awkward at first. There is some trial and error before you really hit your stride.
